Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: My sister was the wife of an Ansari. That Ansari had married her on the condition of giving a garden (as mahr). There was discord between them, and they presented their case before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Return his garden to him, and he will divorce you." The woman said: "Alright, I can give him even more." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Return his garden to him and give him even more as payment."
