حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، نَا ابْنُ زَنْجُوَيْهِ ، نَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أنا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : أَرَادَ الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَ ، فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " اذْهَبْ فَانْظُرْ إِلَيْهَا فَإِنَّهُ أَحْرَى أَنْ يُؤْدَمَ بَيْنَكُمَا ، قَالَ : فَفَعَلَ ذَلِكَ ، قَالَ : فَتَزَوَّجَهَا فَذَكَرَ مِنْ مُوَافَقَتِهَا " ، الصَّوَابَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ بَكْرٍ الْمُزَنِيِّ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) intended to marry, and he mentioned this to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Go and look at the woman, for this will create love between you both.” The narrator states: He did so, and then married the woman. After that, the narrator mentioned their mutual agreement. The correct version is: This narration is transmitted from Bakr Mazani on the authority of Thabit.
