Hadith 3618

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ ، نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ ، نَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ ، كَاتِبُ اللَّيْثِ ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ مِشْرَحِ بْنِ هَاعَانَ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَلا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِالتَّيْسِ الْمُسْتَعَارِ ؟ ، قَالُوا : بَلَى قَالَ : هُوَ الْمُحِلُّ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الْمُحِلَّ ، وَالْمُحَلَّلَ لَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not inform you about the rented bull?" The people said: "Yes, indeed." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He is the one who performs Halalah." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The curse of Allah is upon the one who performs Halalah and the one for whom it is performed."
