نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ السُّكَيْنِ الْبَلَدِيُّ ، نَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ الْحَكَمِ الذَّسْعَنِيُّ ، نَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ ، نَا مُبَشِّرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَأَةَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، وَعَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا تَنْكِحُوا النِّسَاءَ إِلا الأَكْفَاءَ ، وَلا يُزَوِّجُهُنَّ إِلا الأَوْلِيَاءُ ، وَلا مَهْرَ دُونَ عَشَرَةِ دَرَاهِمَ " ، مُبَشِّرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، مَتْرُوكُ الْحَدِيثِ أَحَادِيثُهُ لا يُتَابَعُ عَلَيْهَا.
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Marry women only to suitable matches (kufu’), their marriage should only be conducted by their guardians, and the dowry should not be less than ten dirhams.” The narrator of this narration, Mubashir bin Ubaid, is abandoned in hadith; the narrations transmitted by him have not been corroborated.
