Hadith 3597

نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى الآدَمِيُّ ، نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْحَمَّالُ ، نَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، نَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي هَارُونَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَيْسَ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَ بِمَالِهِ بِقَلِيلٍ أَوْ كَثِيرٍ إِذَا أَشْهَدَ " .
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a man takes witnesses, then there is no sin upon him whether he marries for a small amount of wealth (as dowry) or for a large amount of wealth (as dowry)."
