نَا دَعْلَجُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ شِيرَوَيْهِ ، نَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ رَاهَوَيْهِ ، أنا النَّضْرُ ، أنا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فِي نَفْسِهَا ، فَإِنْ رَضِيَتْ زُوِّجَتْ ، وَإِنْ لَمْ تَرْضَ لَمْ تُزَوَّجْ " .
Abu Burdah narrates from his father (Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The consent of an orphan girl regarding herself will be sought, and if she agrees, then she will be married, and if she does not agree, then she will not be married."
