نَا دَعْلَجُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، نَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ الإِصْطَخْرِيُّ ، نَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، نَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فَإِنْ سَكَتَتْ فَهُوَ إِذْنٌ ، وَإِنْ أَنْكَرَتْ لَمْ تُكْرَهْ " ، وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ وَوَكِيعٌ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ وَأَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ وَغَيْرُهُمْ عَن يُونُسَ بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ.
Abu Burdah narrates from his father (Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him): The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The consent of an orphan girl will be sought; if she remains silent, it will be considered as permission, and if she refuses, she will not be forced." Ibn Fudayl, Waki', Yahya bin Adam, Abdullah bin Dawud, Abu Qutaybah, and other narrators have transmitted it from Yunus bin Abu Ishaq.
