نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدَانَ الصَّيْدَلانِيُّ بِوَاسِطَ مِنْ أَصْلِهِ ، نَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، نَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، نَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْيَتِيمَةُ تُسْتَأْمَرُ فِي نَفْسِهَا ، وَصُمُوتُهَا رِضَاهَا " ، وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ نَحْوَ هَذَا اللَّفْظِ.
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The consent of a virgin girl regarding herself will be sought, and her silence will be considered her approval." Abu Dawood Tayalisi has transmitted it with his chain in the same manner.
