Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A man married off his virgin daughter, but the girl did not like the match. She came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet annulled her marriage. This narration, as transmitted from Nafi‘ on the authority of Ibn Abi Dhi’b, is not established. The correct version is that it is transmitted from ‘Umar ibn Husayn on the authority of Ibn Abi Dhi’b, as has been mentioned earlier.
