It is narrated about Sayyida Khansa’ (may Allah be pleased with her): She was a widow, and her father married her to a man from Banu ‘Awf. However, she wished to marry Abu Lubabah bin ‘Abd al-Mundhir. The matter was presented before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed her father to marry her according to her wish. Thus, the woman married Sayyiduna Abu Lubabah (may Allah be pleased with him).
