Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Majma’ bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate: Sayyiduna Khidam (may Allah be pleased with him) married off his daughter Khansa, but she did not like that man. She was a previously married woman (widow or divorcee). She came to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and mentioned this matter before him, so the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) annulled her marriage.
