نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ، قَالا : نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الأَصْبَهَانِيِّ ، نَا عَبْدُ السَّلامِ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، رَفَعَهُ قَالَ : " لا تُنْكِحُ الْمَرْأَةُ الْمَرْأَةَ ، وَلا تُنْكِحُ الْمَرْأَةُ نَفْسَهَا ، وَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ : وَكَانَ يُقَالُ : الزَّانِيَةُ تُنْكِحُ نَفْسَهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates as a marfu’ hadith: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “No woman can arrange the marriage of another woman, and no woman can arrange her own marriage.” Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) says: It used to be said: “An adulteress arranges her own marriage.”
