نَا دَعْلَجُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، نَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَوْفٍ ، قَالا : نَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ الْجَرْمِيُّ ، نَا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا تُنْكِحُ الْمَرْأَةُ الْمَرْأَةَ ، وَلا تُنْكِحُ الْمَرْأَةُ نَفْسَهَا ، إِنَّ الَّتِي تُنْكِحُ نَفْسَهَا هِيَ الْبَغِيُّ " ، قَالَ ابْنُ سِيرِينَ : وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ : " هِيَ الزَّانِيَةُ ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No woman may arrange the marriage of another woman, nor may a woman arrange her own marriage; only an immoral woman arranges her own marriage." The narrator named Ibn Sirin states: Sometimes Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) would use the word "adulteress" for this.
