Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of Sayyiduna Abu al-Qasim, the Prophet of repentance, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever falsely accuses his slave or slave-girl of adultery, and that (slave or slave-girl) is innocent of what he accused them of, then Allah Almighty will impose upon the accuser, on the Day of Resurrection, the same punishment of lashes as a legal penalty."
