نَا نَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ ، نَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، نَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، نَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى ، عَنِ الْجَلْدِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ ، أَنَّ رَجُلا قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ : " يَا ابْنَ شَامَةِ الْوَذْرِ ، فَاسْتَعْدَى عَلَيْهِ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّمَا عَنَيْتُ بِهِ كَذَا وَكَذَا " ، فَأَمَرَ بِهِ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ ، فَجُلِدَ الْحَدَّ " .
Muawiyah bin Qurrah narrates: A man said to another man, "O son of a woman who sniffs men's private parts (i.e., a woman who commits adultery)!" So Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) seized him. He said, "By this, I meant such and such." So, by the order of Sayyiduna Uthman, he was given lashes.
