نَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبَزَّازُ ، نَا رِزْقُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ ، نَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَقِيلُوا ذَوِي الْهَيْئَاتِ عَثَرَاتِهِمْ ، إِلا حَدًّا مِنْ حُدُودِ اللَّهِ " .
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “(In social matters) overlook the shortcomings of people of status, except in the case of legal punishments (hudud), for the ruling regarding them is different (the prescribed punishment will be carried out).”
