Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding a woman who becomes an apostate, said: "She will be kept alive." Abu Asim said: Imam Abu Hanifa narrated this report from Asim, but I did not record it. I said: This narration has already been related to us from Sufyan, and that is sufficient for us. Abu Asim said: Our opinion is that Sufyan al-Thawri committed tadlis (concealment) from Imam Abu Hanifa regarding her being killed, so I recorded it from both of them.
