Sayyiduna Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I met my maternal uncle and asked him, “Where are you going?” He replied, “The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has sent me to a man who has married his father’s wife. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has instructed me to behead him.” The narrator named Hafs has reported these words: “That I should bring his head to the Prophet.”
