نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نَا عِيسَى بْنُ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الرَّمْلِيُّ ، نَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، نَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ تَطَبَّبَ وَلَمْ يُعْلَمْ مِنْهُ الطِّبُّ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ ، فَهُوَ ضَامِنٌ " .
Amr bin Shu'aib narrates from his father, from his grandfather: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever treats someone while he is not a qualified practitioner (and due to his treatment the patient suffers harm), then that person will be liable to pay compensation."
