Hadith 3424

نَا ابْنُ صَاعِدٍ ، نَا خَلادُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ ، نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ ثَمَنُ الْمِجَنِّ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، عَشَرَةَ دَرَاهِمَ " .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: In the blessed time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the price of a shield was ten dirhams.
