حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، نَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ ، نَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ قَتَلَ مُتَعَمِّدًا ، دُفِعَ إِلَى وَلِيِّ الْمَقْتُولِ ، فَإِنْ شَاءُوا قَتَلُوا ، وَإِنْ شَاءُوا أَخَذُوا الدِّيَةَ ، وَهِيَ ثَلاثُونَ حِقَّةً ، وَثَلاثُونَ جَذَعَةً ، وَأَرْبَعُونَ خَلِفَةً ، وَمَا صَالَحُوا عَلَيْهِ فَهُوَ لَهُمْ ، وَذَلِكَ شَدِيدُ الْعَقْلِ " .
Amr bin Shu'aib narrates from his father, from his grandfather: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever kills someone intentionally, he will be handed over to the heir of the slain. If they wish, they may kill him, and if they wish, they may accept blood money, which will be thirty hiqqah, thirty jadha'ah, and forty khalifah, and in addition, whatever else they agree upon for payment will be given to them. This will be their severe blood money."
