نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، أنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ . ح وثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، نَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَامِلٍ ، نَا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، نَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " جَعَلَ دِيَةَ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ نِصْفَ دِيَةِ الْمُسْلِمِ " ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ : دِيَةُ الْكَافِرِ مثل نِصْفِ دِيَةِ الْمُسْلِمِ.
Amr bin Shu'aib narrates from his father, from his grandfather: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) set the blood money (diyah) of the People of the Book at half that of a Muslim. Ibn Wahb has narrated these words: "The blood money of a disbeliever is set at half that of a Muslim."
