Hadith 3357

نَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّيْدَلانِيُّ ، نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، نَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، " أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِرَجُلٍ قَدْ سَكِرَ مِنْ نَبِيذِ تَمْرٍ ، فَجَلَدَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A man was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) who had become intoxicated due to drinking date wine, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to be flogged.
