Hadith 3350

نَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْمَحَامِلِيُّ ، نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلابَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، " أَنَّ رَجُلا مِنَ الْيَهُودِ قَتَلَ جَارِيَةً مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ عَلَى تَمَائِمَ لَهَا ، وَرَمَى بِهَا فِي قَلِيبٍ فَرَضَخَ رَأْسَهَا بِالْحِجَارَةِ ، فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُرْجَمَ حَتَّى يَمُوتَ ، فَرُجِمَ " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A Jew snatched the necklace of an Ansari girl, wounded her, and threw her into a pit, crushing her head with a stone. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered that he (the Jew) be stoned to death, and he was stoned.
