Hadith 3310

نَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الزَّيَّاتُ ، ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، نَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ هُزَيْلٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْمَعْدِنُ جُبَارٌ ، وَالْبِئْرُ جُبَارٌ ، وَالسَّائِمَةُ جُبَارٌ ، وَالرِّجْلُ جُبَارٌ ، وَفِي الرِّكَازِ الْخُمُسُ " .
Hazil narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Dying by falling into a mine is without compensation, dying by falling into a well is without compensation, dying as a result of an animal (killing a person) is without compensation, dying by being struck by an animal's hoof is without compensation, and payment of one-fifth is obligatory on buried treasure (rikaz)."
