نَا دَعْلَجٌ ، نَا ابْنُ شِيرَوَيْهِ ، نَا إِسْحَاقُ ، نَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ أَشْرَكَ بِاللَّهِ فَلَيْسَ بِمُحْصَنٍ " ، وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ غَيْرُ إِسْحَاقَ ، وَيُقَالُ أَنَّهُ رَجَعَ عَنْهُ ، وَالصَّوَابُ مَوْقُوفٌ.
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever associates anyone with Allah will not be considered a muhsan (married person with established chastity)." This narration has been transmitted as a marfu' hadith only by the narrator named Ishaq; according to one narration, he later retracted from it. The correct view is that this narration is mawquf (stopped at the companion).
