نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الْحِنَّائِيُّ ، نَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَائِذٍ ، نَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ ، نَا الْعَلاءُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " قَضَى فِي الْعَيْنِ الْعَوْرَاءِ السَّادَّةِ لِمَكَانِهَا ، إِذَا طُمِسَتْ ، بِثُلُثِ دِيَتِهَا ، وَفِي الْيَدِ الشَّلاءِ ، إِذَا قُطِعَتْ بِثُلُثِ ، دِيَتِهَا " .
Amr bin Shu'aib narrates from his father, from his grandfather: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) prescribed one third of the full blood money (diyah) for the eye of a blind person if it is removed from its socket, and one third of the full blood money (diyah) for the hand of a paralyzed person if it is cut off.
