نَا ابْنُ مُبَشِّرٍ ، نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ ، نَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْحُبُلِيُّ ، نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ لِلأَسْلَمِيِّ الَّذِي أَتَاهُ وَقَدْ زَنَى : " لَعَلَّكَ قَبَّلْتَ ، أَوْ لَمَسْتَ ، أَوْ نَظَرْتَ " .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A man from the tribe of Aslam came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who had committed adultery. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him: "Perhaps you only kissed, or only touched, or only looked?"
