Hadith 3214

وَنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ الطَّوِيلُ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يُونُسَ السَّرَّاجُ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ ، نَا أَبِي ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الأَنْصَارِيُّ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتِ : " ارْتَدَّتِ امْرَأَةٌ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ ، فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تُسْتَتَابَ ، فَإِنْ تَابَتْ وَإِلا قُتِلَتْ " .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: On the occasion of the Battle of Uhud, a woman became apostate, so the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ordered that "she should be asked to repent; if she repents, then fine, otherwise she will be killed."
