Hadith 314

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ السَّوَّاقُ ، قَالا : نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ ، نا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ مُوسَى بْنُ نَصْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ ، نا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يَتَوَضَّأُ بِرَطْلَيْنِ ، وَيَغْتَسِلُ بِالصَّاعِ ثَمَانِيَةُ أَرْطَالٍ " . تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ مُوسَى بْنُ نَصْرٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفُ الْحَدِيثِ.
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform ablution with two “ratl” of water and would perform ghusl with one “sa’” — eight ratl — of water. In narrating this report, the narrator named Musa bin Nasr is unique, and he is weak.
