Hadith 3132

ح وَنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، نَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ قُتِلَ فِي عِمِّيَّا أَوْ رِمِّيَّا فَهُوَ خَطَأٌ وَدِيَتُهُ دِيَةُ خَطَإٍ ، وَمَنْ قَتَلَ عَمْدًا فَهُوَ قَوَدُ يَدِهِ ، مَنْ حَالَ دُونَهُ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ " .
Tawoos narrates from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is killed by mistake, or is struck by an (unintentional) arrow, it will be considered accidental killing, and its blood money will be that of accidental killing. And whoever is killed intentionally, retaliation (qisas) will be obligatory for him. Whoever tries to obstruct this, upon him will be the curse of Allah, His angels, and all people."
