Hadith 3122

ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى الْخَوَّاصُ ، نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، نَا هَانِئُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، نَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَسْتَأْنِي بِالْجِرَاحَاتِ سَنَةً " ، يَزِيدُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ ، ضَعِيفٌ مَتْرُوكٌ.
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For taking retribution for a wound, one should wait for a year." The narrator named Yazid bin Iyad is weak and abandoned.
