نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا ، نَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ، نَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ مُخْتَارٍ التَّمَّارِ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَطَرٍ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " ادْرَءُوا الْحُدُودَ " .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Try to ward off the prescribed punishments (hudud)."
