ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا ، نَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، نَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ثَمَنِ السِّنَّوْرِ وَالْكَلْبِ ، إِلا كَلْبَ صَيْدٍ " ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ حَمَّادٌ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، هَذَا أَصَحُّ مِنَ الَّذِي قَبْلَهُ.
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: The price (use) of a dog and a cat has been prohibited, except for the case of a hunting dog, which has a different ruling. Hammad did not mention this narration as being attributed to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and this narration is more authentic than the previous one.
