ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، نَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ وَالْهِرِّ ، إِلا الْكَلْبَ الْمُعَلِّمَ " ، الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ، ضَعِيفٌ.
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the price of a dog and a cat, except that the ruling regarding a trained dog (i.e., a hunting dog) is different. (One of the narrators of this narration) Hasan bin Abu Ja'far is weak.
