ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْفَارِسِيُّ ، نَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ الْقَرْقَسَانِيُّ ، نَا نَافِعُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " ثَلاثٌ كُلُّهُنَّ سُحْتٌ : كَسْبُ الْحَجَّامِ ، وَمَهْرُ الْبَغِيِّ ، وَثَمَنُ الْكَلْبِ إِلا الْكَلْبُ الضَّارِي " ، الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، ضَعِيفٌ.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Three things are forbidden: the earnings of the cupper, the earnings of a prostitute, and the price of a dog. However, the ruling for a hunting dog is different. (One of the narrators of this narration) Waleed bin Ubaidullah is weak.
