ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ النَّاقِدُ ، نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ الْكُوفِيُّ ، نَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْبَرَاءِ الْغَنَوِيُّ أَبُو سُفْيَانَ ، نَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ ، نَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ بَيْعِ اللَّحْمِ بِالْحَيَوَانِ " ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ ، وَلَمْ يُتَابِعْ عَلَيْهِ ، وَصَوَابُهُ فِي الْمُوَطَّأِ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، مُرْسَلا.
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d Sa’idi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade selling meat in exchange for an animal. Among those who narrated this report with this chain from Imam Malik, Yazid bin Marwan is unique; he has not been followed in this regard. The correct version is that this narration is transmitted in the Muwatta of Imam Malik as a mursal narration from Sa’id bin al-Musayyib.
