ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، نَا أَبُو عُمَرَ الْحَوْضِيُّ ، نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَرِيشٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُجَهِّزَ جَيْشًا فَنَفِدَتِ الإِبِلُ ، قَالَ : فَأَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنْ آخُذَ فِي قَلائِصِ الصَّدَقَةِ ، فَكُنْتُ آخُذُ الْبَعِيرَ بِالْبَعِيرَيْنِ إِلَى إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ " .
Amr bin Harish narrates from Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) instructed him to equip an army, but the camels ran out. The narrator says: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) instructed me to acquire some camels in exchange for the camels of charity, so I bought one camel in exchange for two camels from the charity camels.
