ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبَزَّارُ ، نَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ ، نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُؤْتَى بِسَبْيٍ ، فَيُعْطِي أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ كَمَا هُمْ لا يُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَهُمْ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When captives were brought to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he would give the entire household (to someone), just as they were before; he would not separate them from each other.
