ثنا الْقَاسِمُ ، وَالْحُسَيْنُ ابْنَا إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْمَحَامِلِيِّ ، قَالا : نَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، نَا مِهْرَانُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ ، نَا زَمْعَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : " لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْفَتْحِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَكَّةَ ، قِيلَ : أَيْنَ تَنْزِلُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فِي مَنْزِلِكُمْ ؟ ، قَالَ : وَهَلْ تَرَكَ لَنَا عَقِيلٌ مَنْزِلا ، لا يَرِثُ الْكَافِرُ الْمُسْلِمَ ، وَلا الْمُسْلِمُ الْكَافِرَ " .
Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the occasion of the conquest of Makkah, before the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) entered Makkah, it was asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Where will you stay, will it be in your house?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) replied: "Has Aqeel (bin Abu Talib) left any house for us? (Because) no disbeliever inherits from a Muslim, and no Muslim inherits from a disbeliever."
