ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُغَلِّسِ ، نَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ ، نَا أَسْبَاطُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ، قَالَ زَعَمَ السُّدِّيُّ ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : " لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ أَمَّنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّاسَ إِلا أَرْبَعَةً وَامْرَأَتَيْنِ ، وَقَالَ : اقْتُلُوهُمْ وَإِنْ وَجَدْتُمُوهُمْ مُتَعَلِّقِينَ بِأَسْتَارِ الْكَعْبَةِ ، عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ أَبِي جَهْلٍ ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ خَطَلٍ ، وَمَقِيسُ بْنُ ضَبَابَةَ ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَرْحٍ " .
Mus'ab bin Sa'd narrates from his father (Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas, may Allah be pleased with him): When Makkah was conquered, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted amnesty to everyone except four men and two women. Regarding these six individuals, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Even if you find them clinging to the curtains of the Ka'bah, kill them." (These individuals were: Ikrimah bin Abu Jahl, Abdullah bin Khatal, Muqais bin Subabah, Abdullah bin Sa'd bin Abi Sarh).
