ثنا أَخُو زُبَيْرٍ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الآدَمِيُّ ، نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنَ نَضْلَةَ ، مِثْلَهُ وَزَادَ : وَعُثْمَانُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ.
The same narration is transmitted with another chain, however, it contains this additional statement: The same used to happen during the era of Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him).
