ثنا ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ فَارِسٍ ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، قَالُوا : نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، نَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ رَجُلا أَتَى عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ مَحْرَمٍ وَقَعَ بِامْرَأَةٍ ، فَأَشَارَ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، فَقَالَ : اذْهَبْ إِلَى ذَلِكَ فَاسْأَلْهُ ، قَالَ شُعَيْبٌ : فَلَمْ يَعْرِفْهُ الرَّجُلُ ، فَذَهَبْتُ مَعَهُ ، فَسَأَلَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، فَقَالَ " بَطُلَ حَجُّكَ " ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ : " أَفَأَقْعُدُ ؟ " ، قَالَ : " بَلْ تَخْرُجُ مَعَ النَّاسِ وَتَصْنَعُ مَا يَصْنَعُونَ ، فَإِذَا أَدْرَكْتَ قَابِلا فَحُجَّ وَاهْدِ " ، فَرَجَعَ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو فَأَخْبَرَهُ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ : " اذْهَبْ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَاسْأَلْهُ " ، قَالَ شُعَيْبٌ : " فَذَهَبْتُ مَعَهُ فَسَأَلَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ مثل مَا قَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، فَرَجَعَ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو فَأَخْبَرَهُ بِمَا قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " مَا تَقُولُ أَنْتَ ؟ " ، قَالَ : " أَقُولُ مثل مَا قَالا " .
Amr bin Shu'aib narrates from his father: A man came to Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) and asked him about a person in the state of Ihram who has intercourse with his wife. He (the father) pointed towards Abdullah bin Umar and said: Go to him and ask him. Shu'aib says: That man did not recognize Abdullah bin Umar, so I went with him. Then he asked Abdullah bin Umar about this matter, and he replied: "Your Hajj has become invalid." The man then asked: "Should I now sit back?" He said: "No, go with the people, do what the people do, then next year come and perform Hajj again and bring a sacrificial animal with you." That man returned to Abdullah bin Umar and informed him about it, so Abdullah said to him: Go to Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) and ask him. Shu'aib says: I went with that man, and he asked Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), and Abdullah bin Abbas gave the same answer as Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) had given him. The man returned to Abdullah bin Amr and informed him about what Abdullah bin Abbas had replied. Then the man asked: "What do you say about this?" Abdullah bin Amr replied: "I also give the same answer as they have stated."
