ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، أنا أَبُو عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي ، حَدَّثَنِي مَخْرَمَةُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ شُعَيْبٍ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ شُعَيْبًا ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ ابْتَاعَ مِنْ رَجُلٍ بَيْعَةً ، فَإِنَّ كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا بِالْخِيَارِ حَتَّى يَتَفَرَّقَا مِنْ مَكَانِهِمَا ، إِلا أَنْ يَكُونَ صَفْقَةَ خِيَارٍ ، وَلا يَحِلُّ لأَحَدٍ أَنْ يُفَارِقَ صَاحِبَهُ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَقْبَلَهُ " ، .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: “Whoever engages in a transaction with another person, then each of them has the option (to cancel the deal) as long as they have not separated from their place, except in the case where the option has been given in the deal. And it is not permissible for anyone to separate from his companion out of fear that he will cancel the deal.”
