ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، نَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ ، وَأَنْ يُبَاعَ الرُّطَبُ بِالْيَابِسِ كَيْلا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade muzabanah and forbade selling fresh dates for dry dates by measure.
