حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، وَآخَرُونَ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ، نَا عَفِيفُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ الزَّنْجِيِّ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا أَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِإِجْلاءِ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ ، قَالُوا : يَا مُحَمَّدُ ، " إِنَّ لَنَا دُيُونًا عَلَى النَّاسِ ، قَالَ : ضَعُوا وَتَعَجَّلُوا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered the expulsion of Banu Nadir, they said: "O Muhammad! We have taken some loans from people." So he said: "Forgive them and leave here quickly."
