حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ صَاعِدٍ ، نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ الْبَزَّارُ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الأَصْبَهَانِيِّ ، نَا عَبْدُ السَّلامِ ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، وَالْحَجَّاجِ ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ عَبْدُ السَّلامِ : وَهُوَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَلَكِنِ اقْتَصَرْتُهُ إِلَى أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا أَسْلَفْتَ فَلا تَبِعْهُ حَتَّى تَسْتَوْفِيَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: (The narrator says that I think this is the statement of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him) "When you make a sale by advance payment (salam), then do not sell it further until you have measured it completely."
