Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever gives something as a gift, then wants to take it back, he is more entitled to it as long as he has not received any compensation for it. However, his example is like that of a dog who licks up its own vomit."
