Umayyah bin Safwan narrates from his father that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) borrowed some armors from him on the occasion of the Battle of Hunayn. He said: "O Muhammad! Are you seizing them by force?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied: "No, rather I am taking them temporarily, and compensation will also be paid for them." The narrator states: Some of those armors were damaged, so the Prophet offered him compensation for them, but he said: "Now I have become inclined towards Islam and I am more interested in it."
