حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نَا الْفَضْلُ الأَعْرَجُ ، نَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، نَا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَعْلَى بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا أَتَتْكَ رُسُلِي فَأَعْطِهِمْ كَذَا وَكَذَا ، أُرَاهُ قَالَ : ثَلاثِينَ دِرْعًا ، أَوْ قَالَ : ثَلاثِينَ بَعِيرًا ، قُلْتُ : وَالْعَارِيَةُ مُؤَدَّاةٌ ؟ ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ " .
Safwan bin Ya'la narrates from his father that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "When my messenger comes to you, give him this item." The narrator says: I think he mentioned thirty coats of mail and thirty camels. Sayyiduna Ya'la bin Umayyah says that I asked: "Is this being taken as a loan to be returned?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) replied: "Yes."
